Also known as Self-threading screws, these screws are used in applications on Metal or thremo-plastics where threads required to install the screw are created by the screw itself. Generally case hardened or through hardened suitable to grade 8.8, these screws provide excellent holding capability when installed.
These screws are available in various corrosion preventive coatings such as Zinc Cr3+, Zinc-Nickle Cr3+, Organic Zinc Aluminium Flake coating to provide corrosion resistance of anywhere between 48 hours to 1000 hours.
